| Bio: | I've traveled a bit. Here's what I've seen so far.
One of my life goals is to visit all seven continents, which used to be the goal of a close friend of mine. He died while visiting his fourth continent in late 2000, so I took up his flag and will complete his goal for him. So far I have visited four. Only Australia, Africa, and Antartica remain.
Another of my life goals is to be able to be dropped anywhere in the world at a moment's notice and survive. I try to accomplish this by studying urban and wilderness survival, speaking several languages, and above all learning to read people's intentions through their body language and voice. I'm an alumni of the BOSS 28-day field course, which taught me how to survive in a desert with practically nothing. I would have made a good member of the A-Team.
I'm a former U.S. Marine. I've been in and around war zones, but never while in the Marine corps. Along the way I've earned two engineering degrees (electrical and biomedical) to counteract my artistic nature. My brain is hung like a horse.
I like learning about physical security, computer security, and related disciplines. I have been known to attend certain hacking events, and always love learning more.
